In the last month the VSA & ABS lights along with the warning light came on. The VTM-4 light will also come on after I drive over the speed of 40MPH. When it hits that 40MPH mark the truck will hesitate and then the light kicks on.So, this turned out to be a bad left front (wheel) sensor. Because the sensor was completely shot, the computer interpreted that as having mulitple issues with that wheel, which is why it threw an ABS (braking), VTM-4 (variable transmission4-wheel drive) and the VSA light (stability), all of these lights get tripped when the sensor is bad.So, this turned out to be a bad left front (wheel) sensor. There are a few reports of the VTM-4 light problem being solved by cleaning (I'd just replace) the EGR valve. May as well clean the EGR ports and passages while you're at it and change the PCV valve.
